Bundler - A definition

A Bundler is any software that bundles (includes) additional software components in the installer file. The additional software components are often called Third Party Software or more generally Bundled Software.

Developers of free software with large distribution sometimes get paid to bundle third party software with their software. The bundled software is in most cases mentioned in the End User License Agreement.

Examples of bundlers: Kazaa Media Desktop, iMesh, Morpheus and KaZoom.
