Overview
IEDriver, also known as TurboDownload and PopUp Killer, open advertisements on your computer. Here's
a extract from the software's Terms & Conditions:
We may modestly deliver highly relevant offers in many ways including but not limited to the following:
- Embedded offers are displayed within some applications.
- Desktop icons and installation files may be placed on your computer that link to other products and services.
- Modest interstitial windows are displayed on your computer desktop.
- Browser based rich media and search results.
In an effort to provide you with highly relevant advertising, we will modestly display offers in association with web sites that contextually match the advertiser.

Our software products will make brief, but occasional contact with our advertising servers and 3rd party servers solely for the purpose to update offers, activity information, and technology enhancement features.
To improve and enhance software features and functions we may occasionally upgrade our software technology automatically. These updates will not take up significant computer resources or bandwidth and will be brief and seamless to you the user. If very substantial or significant changes to the software and bandwidth requirements are needed the product will notify you with a click-thru agreement to obtain your consent.

Uninstall procedure
Uninstall IEDriver from "Add/Remove Programs" in the Windows® Control Panel. Look for entries called 'IE Driver', 'TurboDownload' and 'PopKiller'.
Uninstall IEDriver with FreeFixer

and software that starts automatically when you reboot your computer, so it can offer some
assistance while uninstalling IEDriver. The manual removal instructions
listed below will help you to identify what to delete with
FreeFixer.

Manual removal
Please follow the instructions below if you would like to remove IEDriver manually. Please
notice that you must follow the instructions very carefully and delete everything that is mentioned. In most
cases the removal will fail if one single item is not deleted. If IEDriver remains on your system
after stepping through the removal instructions, please double-check by stepping through them again.

Start the registry editor. This is done by clicking Start then Run.
(The Run dialog will appear.) Type regedit and click OK. (The registry editor will open.)
- Browse to the key:
'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Run'
- In the right pane, delete the value called 'IEDriver', if it exists.
- Exit the registry editor.
- Restart your computer.

Start Windows Explorer and delete:
%SystemDir%\IEDriver\
Note: %SystemDir% is a variable (?). By default, this is C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me), C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000), or C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP).
