Lop comes in many variants, Bazooka will detect some of them. Some of the variants set your homepage to www.lop.com or one of its clone sites:

Some variants use random filenames and window class names, which make Lop very hard to detect. Often installed using an ActiveX control. Sometimes using a standard .exe file, claiming to be a mp3 search or download tool.

Uninstall procedure

Uninstall Lop from "Add/Remove Programs" in the Windows® Control Panel. Look for a name called Window Active. Sometimes the name follow this pattern: "Browser Enhance r", "Brows er Enhancer", "Ultimate Browse r Enhancer", "Ultimate Browser En hancer", "L.O P. Un insta11", "L O.P. Un instal1", "Live 0n line Portal", "Live.0nli ne Porta1", etc. Some variants are uninstalled from the system tray. The vendor offer an uninstaller too. If you have problems uninstalling the software, you can contact the vendor at:
