Acceleration Soft

Acceleration Soft is a software suite developed by eAcceleration Corp. The software components includes, Stop-Sign Computer Protection Service, OOdlz Ad-Free Games, kon-X Premium Dialup Service and/or MegDat Personal Media Service.

An old EULA stated that the software components mentioned above could promote eAcceleration Corp products, bundle Download Receiver or other eAcceleration products.
From the old EULA: "Installation may also include the eAcceleration Download Receiver or other eAcceleration Corp free software. End Users who are not paid subscribers also agree to allow eAcceleration Corp to display online advertising for our own products." Source The current EULA available on the vendor's web site does not mention any type of advertising or bundling.

Acceleration Soft has previously detected and asked the user to uninstall anti-spyware products such as Spybot and Ad-Aware [1] [2] [3]. Recently Pest Patrol reviewed the eAcceleration products and issued a pass. All distribution has been opt-in only since 2002.
