Overview
Many users reports that their
Internet Explorer home page is set to www. slotch.com. The following is an example
from a Bazooka log where the Start Page is
set to www.slotch.com:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\Start Page
http://www.slotch.com/?&account_id=145469
Symantec reports
that Adware.CDT may add the slotch.com domain into the Trusted Sites zone for Internet Explorer.
Slotch.com distributes the Integrated Search Technologies' "Search browser plug-in",
which bundles many potentially unwanted software applications such as
BargainBuddy,
Lycos SideSearch and
n-Case (180search Assistant) as
outlined in the ISTBar EULA.

To reset the web settings, such as your home page, please follow the instructions below.
- Start Microsoft Internet Explorer.
- In Internet Explorer, click Tools -> Internet Options.
- Click the Programs tab -> Reset Web Settings.
