2020Search

Overview

2020Search is an Internet Explorer search toolbar with a silent update feature. From the vendor: "You understand, acknowledge and agree that installation of an Application permits the downloading to your computer by 2020search of software which allows us to update the Application, and that such updates may occur without notice to you ..." Source

Lavasoft reports that 2020Search downloads other software without notice and that the 2020Search uninstaller does not fully uninstall the application. McAfee, Spyware-Guide and PestPatrol classify 2020Search as adware. DoxDesk.com states that 2020Search changes the SearchPage setting to popuptoast.com, that 2020Search bundles ShopNav and that the uninstaller does not restore the SearchPage settings.

2020Search is powered by search results from ShopNav.
