Paduaism
Overview
Paduaism is a software component with unknown purpose. When Paduaism is
installed on the user's system, it will add a large number of pseduo-random registry entries
under 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ RunServices' or
'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ RunOnce',
which will point to Paduaism's .exe files, located in
%WinDir% or %SystemDir%. Due to the large number
of pseduo-random registry entries, Paduaism can be very difficult to remove.
Note: %WinDir% is a variable (?). By default, this is C:\Windows (Windows 95/98/Me/XP) or C:\WINNT (Windows NT/2000).
Note: %SystemDir% is a variable (?). By default, this is C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me), C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000), or C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP).
If you have any of the files related to Paduaism on your computer,
please send them for analysis.
