SpyBan
Overview
SpyBan claim to protect your privacy by removing spyware and adware.
Unfortunately, when testing SpyBan 1.4, it installed the
Look2Me Spyware which is not mentioned
during the installation of SpyBan. SpyBan 1.4
does not show any EULA during the installation or on their web site.
At Download.com, it is noted that SpyBan bundles other products:
"SpyBan is a cutting edge software that is able to detect and remove all popular forms of
spyware programs including Trojans, system monitors, keyloggers, and adware.

Editor's note: This download includes additional applications that are bundled
within the software's installer file, some of which may be provided by parties other than
the developer of this download. These applications may deliver advertisements, collect
information, overlay content or graphics on the Web site you are viewing, or modify your
system settings. As with all downloads, CNET recommends that you pay close attention to
the options presented to you during the installation process. Known applications bundled
with this download include Look2Me."
Source
Fortunately, Download.com removed the SpyBan listing in the beginning of February 2004,
noting that SpyBan had failed to disclose that the Look2Me software
was included in its installation. Read more here.
