Overview
SWBar is an Internet Explorer search toolbar with an auto-update feature.
You will be taken to www.searchwords.com when you search in the toolbar. No privacy policy or
EULA is available for SWBar.
PestPatrol calls SWBar AdRoad.Cpr and classify it as adware.

Uninstall SWBar with FreeFixer
I'm working on a general purpose tool for removing unwanted software.

and software that starts automatically when you reboot your computer, so it can offer some
assistance while uninstalling SWBar. The manual removal instructions
listed below will help you to identify what to delete with
FreeFixer.

Manual removal
Please follow the instructions below if you would like to remove SWBar manually. Please
notice that you must follow the instructions very carefully and delete everything that is mentioned. In most
cases the removal will fail if one single item is not deleted. If SWBar remains on your system
after stepping through the removal instructions, please double-check by stepping through them again.

Start the registry editor. This is done by clicking Start then Run.
(The Run dialog will appear.) Type regedit and click OK. (The registry editor will open.)
- Delete 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Browser Helper Objects \ {B195B3B3-8A05-11D3-97A4-0004ACA6948E}, if it exists.
- Delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Internet Explorer \ Toolbar \ {4E7BD74F-2B8D-469E-C0FF-FD7BA7D5FA7D}, if it exists.
- Delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Classes \ CLSID \ {4E7BD74F-2B8D-469E-C0FF-FD7BA7D5FA7D}, if it exists.
- Exit the registry editor.
- Restart your computer.

Start Windows Explorer and delete:
%WinDir%\Downloaded Program Files\swbar.dll
Note: %SystemDir% is a variable (?). By default, this is C:\Windows\System (Windows 95/98/Me), C:\WINNT\System32 (Windows NT/2000), or C:\Windows\System32 (Windows XP).
