TargetSoft.inetadpt
Overview
TargetSoft.inetadpt is a Layered Socket Provider (LSP). A LSP can intercept
most of the internet traffic going to and from your computer. LSPs are
powerful but if they are buggy, installed or removed incorrectly they will break your
internet connection.
TargetSoft.inetadpt is bundled with FreeWire 3.2.3, but not mentioned in the EULA. After the installation
the internet connection was lost on my lab computer. After investigating the problem
it turned out that TargetSoft.inetadpt was the one breaking my internet connection. The broken connection
was fixed with a tool called LSPFix.
