Winshow open pop up windows.
DoxDesk.com reports that
when a targeted word or phrase is spotted in a web site you are viewing in Internet Explorer,
Winshow may open a pop-up advert and that the adverts have been served
from 00hq.com and 8ad.com.

assistance while uninstalling Winshow. The manual removal instructions
listed below will help you to identify what to delete with

Manual removal
Please follow the instructions below if you would like to remove Winshow manually. Please
notice that you must follow the instructions very carefully and delete everything that is mentioned. In most
cases the removal will fail if one single item is not deleted. If Winshow remains on your system
after stepping through the removal instructions, please double-check by stepping through them again.

Start the registry editor. This is done by clicking Start then Run.
(The Run dialog will appear.) Type regedit and click OK. (The registry editor will open.)
- Delete
'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Browser Helper Objects \ {6CC1C918-AE8B-4373-A5B4-28BA1851E39A}', if it exists.
- Delete
'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Browser Helper Objects \ {6CC1C91A-AE8B-4373-A5B4-28BA1851E39A}', if it exists.
- Delete
'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Classes \ CLSID \ {6CC1C918-AE8B-4373-A5B4-28BA1851E39A}', if it exists.
- Delete
'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Classes \ CLSID \ {6CC1C91A-AE8B-4373-A5B4-28BA1851E39A}', if it exists.
- Exit the registry editor.
- Restart your computer.

Start Windows Explorer and delete:
%WinDir%\winshow.dll, if it exists.
%WinDir%\winlink.dll, if it exists.
Note: %WinDir% is a variable (?). By default, this is C:\Windows (Windows 95/98/Me/XP) or C:\WINNT (Windows NT/2000).
