ZServ, also called APP:Adware-OpenSite, Transponder/ZServ, TROJ_AGENT.FL and ADW_ABET.ACC, is an Internet Explorer browser helper object that open pop-up windows.

Information from the vendor's web site (ZServ.biz): "Zserv is a software development company. We have developed a series of ad targeting applications such as Zserv.dll that help advertisers deliver targeted ads. In addition to our software development, we also provide certain support services to the distributors of our software."

When I contacted the vendor using their online form, I got a response from MyPCTuneUp: "Thank you for contacting MyPCTuneUp Support! This is an automatic acknowledgement to let you know that we have received your inquiry. There is no need to reply to this email. Your ticket code is ***. Please use this code in any further communication. Most emails receive a response within two to four business days. Thank you, MyPCTuneUp Support http://www.mypctuneup.com" MyPCTuneUp.com states that they offer a "uninstall program to remove the following Advertising Software programs from your computer: BestOffers, BetterInternet, Ceres, LocalNRD, MSView, MultiMPP, MXTarget, OfferOptimizer, Twaintec, and some others."

www.stop-popup-ads-now.com is listed inside the zserv.dll file, registered by Thinking Media LP. ZServ.biz and mypctuneup.com is also registered by Thinking Media LP.

If you have any of the files related to ZServ on your system, please send them for additional analysis. Generally, I have only analysed a few versions for each software component listed at this web site. With your help I will be able to look at both old and more recent versions of the ZServ software. Thank you very much for your time!
