Mainpean Stardialer
Overview
Mainpean Stardialer is a dialer distributed by slsk.org,
a faked SoulSeek domain [1].
http://www.p2p.ag/har/slsk/ is also a fake SoulSeek site, which launch a Mainpean - GmbH activeX
window, asking you to install their software. Actually, p2p.ag
lists a large number of
P2P file sharing clients, and when you try to download them, the Mainpean - GmbH activeX
window pops up. p2p.ag lists the following clients on their site:
Bearshare, BitTorrent, Blubster, Direct Connect, Earthstation, eDonkey2000, eMule,
eMule Plus, FileNavigator, Grokster, iMesh, Kazaa, KaZaA Lite, LimeWire, mlMac, MLDonkey, Morpheus,
Overnet, Shareaza, Soulseek and WinMX. p2p.ag states: "Das Angebot ist kostenpflichtig.
(29,95Euro/call aus Deutschland)"
The activeX is hosted by power-url.de and
serviceurl.de.
