ads.
From the developer: "Twain-Tech is a software development company. We have developed a series of ad
targeting applications such as Twain-Tech.dll that help advertisers deliver targeted
ads. In addition to our software development, we also provide certain support services
to the distributors of our software.
Third party companies license and distribute our software, typically as part of their
sponsorship of free software or free content. As part of any licensing of our software,
Twain-Tech contractually requires all distributors to give notice concerning the
presence of our software and to provide consumers access to a Twain-Tech supplied

Uninstall Twaintech with FreeFixer
I'm working on a general purpose tool for removing unwanted software.
The tool is called FreeFixer
and can help you remove unwanted Browser Helper Objects, Internet Explorer toolbars
and software that starts automatically when you reboot your computer, so it can offer some
assistance while uninstalling Twaintech. The manual removal instructions
listed below will help you to identify what to delete with
FreeFixer.

Manual removal
Please follow the instructions below if you would like to remove Twaintech manually. Please
notice that you must follow the instructions very carefully and delete everything that is mentioned. In most
cases the removal will fail if one single item is not deleted. If Twaintech remains on your system
after stepping through the removal instructions, please double-check by stepping through them again.

Start the registry editor. This is done by clicking Start then Run.
(The Run dialog will appear.) Type regedit and click OK. (The registry editor will open.)
- Delete 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Classes \ CLSID \ {000020DD-C72E-4113-AF77-DD56626C6C42}', if it exists.
- Delete 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Browser Helper Objects \ {000020DD-C72E-4113-AF77-DD56626C6C42}', if it exists.
- Exit the registry editor.
- Restart your computer.

Start Windows Explorer and delete:
%WinDir%\twaintec.dll
Note: %WinDir% is a variable (?). By default, this is C:\Windows (Windows 95/98/Me/XP) or C:\WINNT (Windows NT/2000).
- Start Microsoft Internet Explorer.
- In Internet Explorer, click Tools -> Internet Options.
- Click the Programs tab -> Reset Web Settings.
